The world record is set in Batumi Sea Port.
Weightlifter George Rostomashvili, who is the author of many world-weightlifting records on 25 August 2019, set a new world record in Batumi seaport.
Using a rope, with one finger of his hand, he pushed off and dragged for five meters the tugboat “Tamara 2”, with the weight more than 200 tons. This type of record was set in the world for the first time. Judges of the Georgian Federation of Records followed for the establishment of this world achievement.
The management of “Batumi Sea Port” supported the champion to establish this record by giving above-noted vessel to the challenger for a new world record. The management of the port believes that such international events are important for realization the country's sports potential and warmly congratulates the 29-year-old champion with another world record.
