Visit of the delegation of Batumi Sea Port LLC to the port of Aktau

An important step towards strengthening connections between Kazakhstan and Georgia was the fact that a delegation of 15 staff members of the Batumi Sea Port visited the port of Aktau. Their itinerary also included a tour of Aktau Marine Northern Terminal LLP, where they saw with their own eyes the strategic role it plays in regional maritime activities.

The delegation was also visited port of Kuryk, as well as multifunctional marine terminal of Sarzha, and that further enriched of their understanding of Kazakhstan maritime infrastructure. 

 

Since the Batumi Sea Port is one of Kazakhstan's strategic assets abroad, this visit highlighted the importance of developing of economic, professional and personal relations between port officials of both countries. The Kazakh and Georgian teams had an active exchange of opinions, sharing information about their activities, problems and opportunities for cooperation.

 

When the guests visited the modern facilities of port of Aktau, the atmosphere was filled with the spirit of camaraderie. They witnessed firsthand the advances in infrastructure and technologies that ensure efficient cargo handling and logistics. Every interaction was filled with enthusiasm, as discussions ranged from best practices in operation to innovative strategies to improve the provision of services along the Medium Transport Corridor.

 

During the visit, the emphasis was placed on strengthening mutual understanding and respect. The Kazakh hosts warmly welcomed their Georgian colleagues, ensuring that each participant would feel valued and involved.

 

Departing from the Aktau, the delegation brought with them not only knowledge and ideas, but also a strengthened bond that will contribute to the further development of their joint efforts. This visit was a turning point on the way to expanding the partnership, promising a brighter and more interconnected future for the ports of Kazakhstan and Georgia along the Middle Transport Corridor.
