Batumi Sea Port Ltd effected the first export shipment of Kazakhstan ammophos.

Batumi Seaport Ltd successfully handled the first shipment 3 thousand tons of Kazakhstan ammophos in big bags. This mineral fertilizer is being shipped from Kazakhstan via Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and through Batumi Sea Port for the first time. Cargo delivery was organized in the multimodal transportation format. The shipper was Kazphosphate LLP.

 

In 2025, the Batumi Sea Port Ltd plans to transship 50,000 tons of Kazakhstan ammophos, which will significantly expand the possibilities of exporting mineral fertilizers through this route. In addition, as part of the strategy to attract new shippers, in 2024, the Batumi Sea Port Ltd provided the first deliveries of 37.6 thousand tons of Kazakhstan ammonium nitrate to world markets through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
