Batumi Sea Port LLC and KazPhosphate LLP Agreed to Increase the Volume of Transshipment of Kazakhstani Ammophos
Batumi Sea Port LLC and
KazPhosphate LLP have reached an agreement to increase the volume of
transshipment of ammophos cargo through Batumi Sea Port.
The parties signed a Memorandum
of Cooperation, taking into account their mutual interest in maximizing the
utilization of Batumi Sea Port LLC’s facilities, expanding bilateral relations,
and developing international cooperation.
The export of Kazakhstani
ammophos from Batumi Sea Port via the Trans-Caspian International Transport
Route was carried out for the first time in February 2025. A multimodal
transportation method was used to deliver this mineral fertilizer to Batumi.
In 2025, Batumi Sea Port LLC
plans to transship up to 50,000 tons of ammophos produced by KazPhosphate LLP.
