Behaviour rules in the Batumi seaport
Please carefully read and acquaint with this information all persons entering the territory of Batumi Seaport Ltd.
- Wearing of a safety helmet and signal vest on the port territory’s mandatory.
- Be guided by road and warning signs, safety posters which available on the territory of the port.
- Move on the territory of the port along the buildings(structures) , and along the roadway , keep to the left side(towards transport).
- Look in both direction before crossing the carriage way, or railway tracks.
- Do not stand and do not pass under a raised cargo and operating machinery.
- Do not crawl under the rail wagons. Do not pass between rail wagons if the distance between them is less than 5 m.
- When bypassing the rail wagons, it is forbidden to pass near them at a distance of less than 2 m.
- Do not run across the road in front of moving vehicle.
- Do not perform work that is not related to your duties.
- No smoking throughout the port, except specially designated place.
- When called "Beware", stop immediately, assess the danger and immediately move to a safe place.
- Speed of vehicles in the port area is 10 km/h.
- Special ladders to be used for the transition on the floating crafts.
- Do not panic in case of emergency, be guided by the evacuation sings and head to the nearest gathering place or to the entrance.
- If you notice any incident, please inform the port representatives or port security accordingly.
