Digitalization of the middle corridor

The General Director of Batumi Sea Port Ltd Mr. Ulan Tleugali participated in the World Bank research seminar "Trade and Transport Medium Corridor - Sectoral policy and investments to triple cargo transportation and halve travel time by 2030", as well as in the workshop on digitalization of the Medium Corridor, which aims to promote the fundamental work of TITR. The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mr.G.Guramishvili ,representatives of the Governments of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Armenia, as well as business unions and the diplomatic corps.

The workshop on the digitalization of the Middle Corridor discussed options for a management structure, issues on the implementation of standards, especially with regard to the digital identification of electronic signatures and transactions, as well as reaching consensus on prioritizing key services that will provide collective benefits along the corridor in the development and implementation of services for TITR participants.
