VISIT OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN TO BSP

Within the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. A.Aripov to Georgia, the government delegation, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mr. Levan Davitashvili, visited the Batumi Sea Port. The General Director of the Batumi Sea Port, Mr. U.Tleugali, familiarized with the technical capabilities and development plans of the port. The parties discussed strategic directions of cooperation with Uzbekistan, the possibility of transporting growing cargo flows by the shortest route along the Middle Corridor through Georgia.
