Tbilisi Silk Road Forum

The General Director of the Batumi Sea Port Ltd Mr.U.S. Tleugali participated in the work of the Tbilisi International Forum "Tbilisi Sulk Road Forum". The Forum was participated by Prime Ministers of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Montenegro.  

 Within the framework of the Forum, ten thematic panel sessions and parallel panel discussions were held on the following topics:

- the growing role of the "middle corridor"; the development of transport and logistics links; the financial sector; communications; energy; tourism; technology.

On the second day of the forum, the participants discussed Georgia's investment opportunities, and b2b meetings were held between Mr. U.S.Tleugali and the forum participants.

One of the goals of the forum is to involve in the Middle Corridor project as many countries as possible. The Forum was founded by Georgian Prime Minister Mr. Irakli Garibashvili and is held under his patronage. This year, there is an unprecedented high interest in the "Tbilisi Silk Road Forum", more than 2,000 guests from 60 countries take part in it.
