The British Ambassador to Georgia, Mr. Mark Clayton, and his delegation visited the port of Batumi

On November 13, 2023, the British Ambassador to Georgia Mr. Mark Clayton and his delegation visited the port of Batumi. The Ambassador was met by the General Director of the port of Mr. Tleugali Ulan Salamatuly and the Managing Directors of the port. The purpose of the visit was to inspect the Batumi port and receive information about its capabilities and work.

There was held a presentation at the meeting, where  he was aсquainted in detail about the port. After which the delegation visited the territory of the port.

The Ambassador pointed out the crucial role of Georgia in the middle corridor and, in particular, the function of the port of Batumi as the main hub of the transport corridor for cargo flow towards of Europe-Asia and back.
