The General Meeting of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" in Ankara (Turkey)



In 2024 it is planned to transport 4 million tons of cargo along the TITR route. General Director of Batumi Sea Port Ltd Mr.Ulan  Tleugali  took part in the meeting of the Working Group and the General Meeting of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" as well as in the round table on "TITR : trends, challenges and prospects" with the participation of representatives of financial institutions (EBRD, World Bank), the global multimodal digital platform DTCGlobal, shippers of Kazakhstan and Turkey. (Ankara, Turkey). During the event, plans and tariffs for 2024 were approved, also further steps to intensify activities and prospects for expanding routes were discussed.

In 2023, more than 2.7 million tons of cargo were transported along the TM route, which is 86 % more than in 2022. The long-term plan for 2024 is about 4 million tons.
